What is it?
The European Week of Regions and Cities (#EURegionsWeek) is the biggest annual Brussels-based event dedicated to regional policy.
The event has grown to become a unique communication and networking platform, bringing together regions and cities from all over Europe, including their political representatives, officials as well as experts and academics. Over the last 17 years, it has done much to promote policy learning and exchange of good practices.
In 2019, the #EURegionsWeek reached a record high of more than 9000 participants and more than 330 sessions, which shows the event’s relevance and potential as a platform for political communication in relation to the development of EU cohesion policy, raising the awareness of decision-makers about the fact that regions and cities matter in EU policy-making.
Start at Best participating with a stand dedicated to Workplace Innovation
From the Start at Best team we are pleased to announce that we have confirmed as partners to the 18th edition of the European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels (although in regard to the COVID19 crisis the event may be held online), where we will have a stand dedicated to share, spread and disseminate the benefits of Workplace Innovation, helping the participants to evaluate, design and implement innovative actions in their own organisations and enhance the working conditions of their employees.
During the event Start at Best will raise awareness of the development of a European-led new wave of workplace innovation among SMEs, drawing from the Startups that initiated this new trend in workplace innovation and inspiring SMEs to adopt a similar innovative attitude. This session will make use of the workplace innovation diagnostic to give participants an in-depth understanding of where change is needed, design a personalized solution and assist them to implement it in their own organizations.
The stand will aim to give participants an in-depth explanation on evidence-based workplace practices and the associated benefits, in addition to indicate specific practical actions at the different organizational levels. We will use the workplace innovation diagnostic tool featured in the website to first, let participants evaluate their organisations workplace innovation level. Afterwards, an expert will explain the results as well as, give on site tips/feedback on the areas of improvement so that the results can be translated into SMART implementation actions.
